Midland Foods – Quality Assured from Farm to Fork

All products are developed to the highest standards and to exact customer specification by the Midland Foods team of master butchers. Products are reviewed constantly to include a diverse range that is in season, responsive and imaginative.  The portfolio includes more than 1000 different types and cuts of meat products all locally sourced where possible and Midland Foods guarantee full traceability from farm to fork.

Beef Products

Beef is dry matured and hung on the bone for up to 28 days, allowing it to tenderise and reduce moisture giving a more intense flavour. All beef products are under 18 months from hand selected breeds for the finest flavours and Farm Assured where possible. Midland Foods sources the best of UK and Scottish beef – from Hereford cattle at Yield Field Farm to Aberdeen Angus.

Lamb Products

As with all Midland Foods product ranges, the lamb it supplies is sourced locally, where possible, from Blind House Farm in Warwickshire through farmers known personally to the Midland Foods team.  Grazed on fresh local pastures and reared to the highest of standards, Midlands Food lamb products are tasty, fresh and traceable.

Pork Products

Midland Foods works with its farmer suppliers to produce a range of tasty and succulent pork products, including its highly acclaimed pork sausages.  Managing Director Rusell Heptinstall firmly believes that happy pigs make for the tastiest pork – he knows his pork farmers personally, visits them regularly and knows that being able to trace all Midland Foods pork from farm to fork is essential in today’s provenance conscious environment. All Midland Foods pork products come from well-managed, animal welfare concerned farms like Staffordshire Park. 

Game

During game season Midland Foods stocks a wide range of high quality, succulent and delicious game meat (Pheasant, Partridge, Venison etc).   Midland Foods sources the very best game available in season and works closely with chefs in fine dining establishments to ensure that they bring to table the finest products . Midland Foods sources controlled wild venison from Far Forest in Kidderminster and in August is proud to be amongst the first supplying fresh grouse to the West Midlands. 

Chicken Products

Midland Foods offer chicken products that are Farm Assured, Free Range, Organic, Corn Fed and Freedom Food where possible. All are 100% traceable and from UK farmers/manufacturers like Holly Farm in Worcestershire. Chicken remains one of the most popular meats on the table in the UK and Midlands Foods ensures that all chicken meat it supplies is of the highest quality. 

Turkey

Midland Foods knows it wouldn’t be Christmas if it wasn’t for turkey. The company supplies thousands of turkeys over the festive season – both whole and portioned – and work on this turkey supply chain starts early in the year. All Midland Foods turkeys are farmed at Caldecott, Worcestershire. But don’t limit turkey to just once a year – the price of turkey is stable and it’s one of the healthiest meats available giving customers a healthy and cost effective alternative for their menus.
